@ mr23,

It doesn't work on all the cases, whenever we face any issue with the internet connection where it gets disconnected for few seconds and comes back only then it would help.

You may try the following to check, if this is helping. Login to the console and follow the steps, ensure to reboot the Almond+ after that.

root@AlmondPlus:/# cd sbin/

root@AlmondPlus:/sbin# rm network_wan.
@Ashok is this fix included in the latest beta firmware?

Are you getting dropped only the wireless connection or both and if it is only wireless, is it 2.4 or 5 Ghz?

Both bands go down for me. Don't have anything hardwired so not sure.

@ bltpyro,

It is important for us to understand, if the connection is getting disconnect only from wireless or both. See, if you could connect at least one hardwired device to the Almond+ and let us know the status, accordingly we could proceed further.

Mine does this too. I have 2 Almond+'s (That's right I'm a double sucker :() About one every 2 or 3 days my 5GHz band will drop out, then the 2.4GHz band, then the hardwired lines. At this point I have to go around the house, and unplug (reboot doesn't fix the problem) the first router, then unplug the Almond+ being used as an AP, then plug the router in then the AP.

I am getting this issue as well. Daily I get disconnects on my wireless. Wired remains fine, though. This is on 5ghz and the latest non-beta firmware.

Adding my voice here. Have the same issue on both bands and also on the hard wired. Do not want to replace this router!

Well, I got a dropout from my phone, but a plugged in raspberry pi constantly pinging google never failed. When trying to ping google from my phone it did fail during the dropout. I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but the local wireless connection stays intact. So the wireless connection looks fine, I just loose connection to the internet.

After removing all my zigbee devices, I am not getting disconnects (for now). Note that I only had zigbee devices and no zwave, so it could be all home automation stuff would have to be removed for a more stable connection.

This happens to me on ethernet and wireless. I can be watching anything on my AppleTV. It'll lose connection to whatever is currently streaming. I may be on laptop/iPhone/iPad at the same time and will notice that I lose connection on those devices as well. It's all simultaneous. The problem typically will resolve itself within 1-3 minutes. But I can bet on it happening every night. I'm on the current release firmware R83.

Cancel that. I am still having wireless problems.

@JesseD and @Fanter1

Is this for all wireless clients or just Apple products?

There are some known issues on the part of Apple that have been addressed with recent updates to IOS and OSX.
