DMZ Access
« on: October 10, 2015, 02:59:05 am »
Hi All,

Am a bit of a noob and am stuck so wanted to tap into the hive mind for a possible solution. We have an Owncloud server in our environment which we want access to from internal and external enviorments. To keep things simple i wanted to give the server an external IP and put dmz in my Almond router as the server IP. Now i can access the server with the external IP when i am out of the local network, and can access to with local IP when i am within the local network. But if i try to use the external IP when i am within the local network the router blocks it. Any idea where i am going wrong?

Regards

Zubair

@ Zukhiro,

It would be more helpful, if you could let us know which device are you using (Almond, Almond 2015 or Almond+)?
