Motion sensors and time delays
« on: October 11, 2015, 08:12:34 pm »
Is any progress being made on being able to set a timeout for detected motion? For instance, to be able to trigger a light to turn on for 5 or 10 minutes, like how a motion-sensing security light would work?

Thanks

Following.

Trying to do a similar thing for my bathroom. The classic, motion detection to trigger the lights, but the second that its not detecting motion, since the senor can only check max every 5 sec, not constant, it keeps turning it off in between when no motion is detected. So it would be nice if i could make it so that once it was triggered it stayed on for a minimum of 6 seconds that way another "motion detected" will already have been triggered.
