routing problem with almond+ in ap-mode
« on: January 16, 2016, 04:21:30 pm »
I'm experiencing this weird routing problem: network connection was working, then suddenly stops working. I can still connect to the web interface of the almond, and even ssh into it.
So when I do a ping 8.8.8.8 from my local machine at that point, it doesn't return. But over the ssh connection to the almond+ it still works (besides, my daughter was watching youtube video's on the couch next to me, so no internet problem there).

I'm running the 83 firmware.

Has anyone experienced similar issues?

@ jagij,

Is this happening with both the wireless bands or only one, does rebooting the Almond+ resolves the issue?

My configuration has both 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands enabled. I don't know which one I was connected to at the time. The connection came back without rebooting anything.
I'm using a macbook pro running El Capitan. I would like to monitor it in order to gather some useful data, but I don't know how.
I have now enabled the built-in wireless-diagnostics tool in monitoring mode.
