Fibaro motion sensor support?
« on: November 17, 2015, 10:23:17 am »
Any support planned for the Fibaro motion sensor? Thought it had support already but apparently not  :(

@ Paholainen,

To my best knowledge, our next release would have support. Meanwhile, let me know what exactly happens and does it work through LCD UI?

Thanks for the quick reply. Was almost ready to return it :). Yes, it works through LCD, but the APP says unsupported and doesn´t show anything, like the temp, humidity, motion. Those show up on the LCD

Ok tried to put some rules on it, but it says unsupported on the web UI (or whatever it´s called) and doesn´t show up on rules page. So for now I have a temerature sensor only ;) Humidity shows zero, so suppose theres no support for that either atm. The motion sensor seems to work, it alerts on the LCD UI.

You're new here so I have to speak to help. Be careful waiting on updates for new device support. Look closely at the return policy for your device. The "next update" is as big a promise as "it's only a cold sore"

If there´s no update soon, I will buy the Fibaro control unit and a separate router

have a fibaro motion sensor too  ...motion sensor works perfectly but not other options like temperature and light sensor
waiting for the next update too...the good thing about fibaro is it detect motion continuously ...not like securifi motion sensor.... detects motion and one sec later it says no motion...

thanks

Hi motion should work properly when you choose as normal motion sensor ...mine works perfectly as motion detector in automation also...

Thanks

Thanks will try it.

Works now with the Rules for motion detected an turning on a lamp. Hope the new update arrives before end of year (as I like the router) or I will change to Fibaros own control box.

So is this motion sensor now fully supported on Almond+ after "the big update"?

@ andersos,

We added full support (Motion, Luminance, Temperature) for the following Fibaro Motion sensor and we have to select it as Multi sensor while adding.
