Updated kwikset 910 deadbolt
« on: January 08, 2016, 09:23:45 am »
I received a warranty replacement for my Kwikset 910 Z wave deadbolt. It is the same on the outside, slightly different colors on the inside and slightly different instructions. It does however work just fine and paired as expected. For those who haven't added a lock or deadbolt before the pairing process is much longer. So far it also responds quicker than my original one.

That's good news, and bad news for me.

I have one person that has had some trouble, didn't figure it really could be a bad lock but now I need to check into that.

Thanks for the heads up.

When I took off the back cover the light by the include/exclude button stayed on constantly. I was eating through batteries and couldn't control it at all. Turns out it was a bad z wave board, called kwikset support they sent out a replacement.

We can't get the light to go on.

Looks like we'll be calling tech support as well.
