Hello from Hillsboro New Hampshire
« on: January 29, 2016, 10:52:40 am »
Hi,

I have been a long-time smarthome automation fan, and love the direction the Almond line is taking.  I have a couple different Almonds and just one Peanut.  We have an Osram Sylvania in our town where the firs "Dot It" was put together.  They are really big on LED lighting.   About half the lights in my house are Insteon Keypad dimmers.  I have not seen much discussion on Insteon integration lately but would love to be able to do dimmable scenes using the Almond.  I am an embedded software engineer so I don't know if development is looking for community to pick up any features,  Let me know.  This could go any of 3 directions:
1. Add native Insteon capability to the Almond,
2. A bridge device that allows Insteon devices to be addressed from Zigbee is developed, or
3. A dimmable keypad light switch that uses Zigbee is available

Best,
David
 ;)
