AdFreeTime and DNS Settings
« on: February 07, 2016, 05:13:43 am »
Hello,

I have an Almond+ that has the latest firmware installed. (Love the router). I am outside the USA and want to watch the SuperBowl. Have subscribed to a DNS service <https://adfreetime.com/about/> that should allow me to stream the broadcast from the USA. BUT, I can't figure out how to set my DNS settings to where I am using their DNS. I've looked through the forum and still can't figure out what to do. Most of the replies seem to be too old and don't work with the current state of the Almond+ software. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Lawrence

@ Lawrence,

Assuming that you are using the Almond+ in Router mode, we could enter the separate DNS Addresses under Web UI-->Internet--> Uncheck (Use DNS Servers advertised by peer) and enter the desired DNS address.
