Almond+ Port Spanning /Mirroring
« on: March 14, 2016, 07:53:59 pm »
I am trying to port span the internal gateway node TO port 4 on the back of the router.
Is this supported?
If so, what is the best way to do this...

Considering the output of this router has never exceeded 1gb total full duplex....

Since the answer was so short, I would like to ask a follow up..

Are there any alternatives?

I see that OPENWRT has similar capabilities, but not sure if its possible on the A+, or if there are alternatives.

*Being that owners of these routers might like to protect themselves with an IDS service of some kind.... And the only logical would be to tap off of the internal Gateway node of the A+....
