Advice on connecting Mac to VPN
« on: March 31, 2016, 04:16:18 pm »
Hello,
I'm trying to set up the VPN feature.  I got the PPTP feature to work, but when I try to use the L2TP route (given security concerns with PPTP), I get a message that  "The L2TP-VPN server did not respond."   Anyone else have this issue?  Any suggestions?

Thanks

-Todd

@ t0dd,

let us know, what all the options you are configuring  under VPN, if possible, the screen shot with out WAN IP address.

Using IPSec Pre-shared Key L2TP PSK with MAC OSX 10.9.5 (Mavericks)

On the MAC it's just the Shared Secret and Password for Authentication.

It's working ok, use it a lot.
