Add my own hostname to connected devices in WebUI
« on: April 26, 2016, 03:08:53 am »
For my computers, and rooted android phones, I can change the hostname in the device. This isn't possible for some of my other devices: non rooted android phones, blink home security camera base, Amazon Fire TV (kindle-820982918309), and a few others.

Can you add another column for each device, where I can specify my own hostname, and it saves it to that MAC address?

+1, Being able to add your own label would help.

At the minimum, displaying a client's hostname (if available) would help a lot in identifying any connected devices, or even a look up of the OUI from the mac to identify the make of the connected client is also beneficial
