Almond+ and HooToo Tripmate Titan
« on: July 12, 2016, 08:17:49 pm »
Here is my setup:  I have a Motorola Surfboard cable modem feeding my Almond+.  I have the wifi turned off on the modem, so only the Almond+ is providing WiFi service.  I also have a HooToo Tripmate Titan wireless travel router (not sure how many are familiar with this product, but, very cool).  I can also use the HooToo as "somewhat" of a range extender, here is where my problem is.  The HooToo connects to an existing WiFi signal and broadcasts it's own network, problem is I can't get it to get internet access from the Almond+ when I connect to the Almond+ WiFi network, it will connect, but, no internet access from the HooToo.  When I turn the WiFi on in the Motorola Surfboard and connect the HooToo to that WiFi network it works without issue.  Any ideas why I am unable to do this using the Almond+ WiFi signal?
