rf134a: No need to delete it. You can set it to always notify you, so you would see every time. Or use it as a presence sensor with some Rules triggering something.

Ideally you'd have NUT server running and plug the Almond's electric into a UPS, and the UPS monitoring into Almond's USB. Then the UPS would notify you when it switches to battery.

You could put a vibration sensor on the gen like a Monoprice Z-Wave Plus Shock Detector, NO LOGO
