Utilitech flood sensor (lowes)
« on: September 10, 2016, 03:39:10 pm »
Does the Utilitech flood sensor work with Almond +? It's zwave and I read it works with multiple hubs. When I try to pair it, it's says "getting sensor data" and the sensor beeps 3 times, then several minutes later the almond + asks if it's flood, smoke, or other. No matter which one I choose it doesn't show up on the sensor list. I have tried it on 2 different Almond+ units. What am I missing?

Assuming nobody from Securifi chimes in saying it is not supported yet, I would recommend contacting support.

Occasionally, sensors need to be activated while being added. Perhaps try to trigger it (with a small amount of water or a piece of metal) while adding it. Otherwise it seems like it isn't supported. I have had some devices that weren't supported but will start the inclusion process.

I sent logs yesterday when I was trying to pair it. I did just have some success. While the Almond+ says "getting sensor data" I kept pressing the button on the sensor every few seconds and it added and is working now. Not sure how to change settings on it yet. I did find a better manual since it is the same as the Everspring ST812. So it does work and I will continue testing.
