sensor timeline history
« on: October 12, 2016, 03:38:39 pm »
I would like to see a timeline history of all my senors' states/info

I am sure I can write something via the web socket API, but it'd be nice to have that built-in.  It would really help to get a snapshot of electronics/appliance usage at anytime.  and external USB thumbdrive can be used to store the data if needed ?

Click the sensors and then view history. It shows quite a bit there but I don't know about power monitoring. This is for individual devices at a time though.

So more of a log that you could use otherwise. Something that monitors it all.

As for power monitoring, I have always seen power logging in the history for devices that had it.

so here's what I am talking about, basically the history page from Home Assistant (see link below)

yes, I know I can configure home assistant and probably create an interface to get data from sensors connected to Almond, but it's another platform I have to set up and and upkeep.  I already have a homebrew video security system and NAS to look after, I don't need more.

As far as power usage is concern, perhaps it is details that can be revealed when on clicks on the "on" duration of a peanut plug to show power consumption data for that time period?  This is applicable to to all sensors that has detail data type.
