Sirens On Individual Almond 3's
« on: November 19, 2016, 09:02:47 pm »
I set up my new 3 pack of Almond 3's. It came with a free door sensor, so I set up the alarm functionality.  The Siren only goes off on the main almond and not the meshed in ones. When I make the rule, I only see the main Almond in the list for sirens, but not the other 2 units. Anything I can be doing to make them all go off.

Not at this time. The only way to control the mesh almonds siren or light is the LCD of that almond.

That Stinks.  I have 1 almond on each floor. I would love to hear the beep when the door opens in my basement, on the Almond in my room and down in my family room. This way I can monitor my kids no matter what floor I am on. I guess I have the triggers on the phone alerts.

This should be pushed up on the list of features to enable -disappointing that we cannot use the slaves' alarm/leds to alert.

Agreed. elandais.

I have my master almond in my first floor office (where my cable modem is) but I'd like to get the alerts from the otehrs, particularly the one in my bedroom.

It is on their list of future features from my understanding.

Hopefully it will be in the next update. The previous update included the ability for changes on the main unit, to be automatically changed on the meshed units. So I'm thinking that feature will lead into ability to control the items on the meshed devices.

@ Rod,

You can create the rule to do that and please note only using Primary unit.

Hi guys

This is definitely in our pipeline. If you have any other great ideas to make this Siren system better (default rules or something), please let us know.

Thanks,
Neeharika

Similar would be universal control of the LED so that if there is an issue with the network on one of the almond devices it can turn / flash red or similar. Mostly just universal support (in the rules select which almond siren(s) you want to be triggered).

Hi mparadis,

Yes, once the Sirens are integrated, integrating LEDs across the mesh system would be much easier.
