Issues with Securifi Flood Sensor SZ-WTD01
« on: November 17, 2016, 10:58:40 am »
Have had two of these sensors both showing low battery despite new batteries. I tried to remove them, clean the battery terminals and reinstall but I keep getting association failed when trying to include it in the network. As such I don't know if the cleaning corrected the issue or not. I followed the reset procedure from this thread https://forum.securifi.com/index.php/topic,3981.msg19949.html#msg19949 without success. Any suggestions?

I had the same issue with them reporting low battery, replacing batteries, and have they just continue to say low battery. I followed instructions in the forum and still no go. I haven't had time to mess with them further. Unfortunately, I mounted mine in not super easy to get at places in my basement so they are a pain to mess with. I believe they batteries lasted 3 months so rather than mess with them, I'd prefer something with better battery life. It's my understanding that some early units had this problem as a bug and units were swapped for replacement.

@ mparadis,

To our best knowledge, it could be an issue with the sensors hardware. These sensors were working fine and then started facing this issue or any recent change?. Does this happen with Almond+ and Almond 2015?

@ mparadis,

Could we try this with Almond 2015 too and check?

Same issue with almond 2015. Strange that I had two of these working now can't pair.
