Success too. Both were up to date with the latest firmware.
To get it going, I factory reset both Almond3s, reversed which was the main unit and which was the secondary. Didn't rebuild the primary, left it with all the default settings, but connected to the internet, and finally used wireless instead of wired. Once they were connected to each other, then rebuilt the main unit with my wireless SSIDs, etc.
