Smartthings Multipurpose Sensor (Multisensor)
« on: November 26, 2016, 05:45:10 pm »
Recently picked one of these up. It is supposed to offer open/close (door/window), tilt, vibration and temperature. I paired it (it did not pair the first time) then when it added it initially showed as a "generic" device which I changed and it now shows it as an open/close sensor. It does NOT report vibration or tilt. It does show temperature. Both open/close status and temperature can be used in the rules. I have not yet tried switching it to different types of sensors since I need to unpair and repair it to switch it again (any reason we can't have the option to change it as needed?). I will eventually. That being said at the sale price of $30 (I don't know for how long) an open / close sensor with temperature is a good deal and for any extra features we can get working (tilt / vibration) would be excellent.

@ mparadis,

To my best knowledge, the support has been added, please try it as multi sensor and also send us the log files.

@Ashok

The only options I have to select from are: Door; Motion; Vibration; Gas; Fire; Flood; Keyfob; Warning Device; and Basic. No option for a Multisensor. I have tried a few times with different ones and its the same. Any suggestions?
