Almond Click Q&A
« on: November 29, 2016, 08:46:17 pm »
What is the battery type in the Click?
What is the battery life?
Can it be used to bi-, tri-, multi- state a device (such as light level or on/off state) ?
How long is the Pre-Order open?
When will shipments start?

Battery Type: CR2032 Button Cell
Battery Life: According to the packaging, up to 3 years* (your mileage may vary type of thing)
Can it be used to...: Whatever you can program in the Rules for it to do with the 3 states it has (for button presses), as well as battery and tamper states of course.
Pre-order is no longer applicable, but it is shipping now.

Wish I knew why the two Almond clicks I had setup decided not to work anymore. One is setup to turn some patio lights on a linear switch on and off like a 3 way switch, and the other was an emergency button for my wife to turn on four connected devices. Nothing is responding now and after removing them I can't get them to pair again either.
