General Trouble Shooting Advice
« on: December 09, 2016, 04:06:14 pm »
Many "issues" are generally resolved with a few simple steps. In an effort to make things a little easier for everyone I thought I'd post some of them here. If any experienced users have something to add please do so.

  • Reboot the router (and mesh units)
  • Ensure all units are on the latest firmware, if not then update and reboot
  • Reset offending unit; re-include the device to the mesh setup (for mesh unit issues) or setup the mesh network again if the router or multiple mesh units
  • Replace the ethernet cable(s) being used or test them with different ones
  • Try moving meshed units closer to the router if having connection / speed issues
  • Search the forum for known bugs that may apply in your situation and/or solutions
  • Contact Securifi support on this page https://www.securifi.com/support
