Nanoleaf Aurora's are controlled via WiFi. The controller they come with can also communicate via ZigBee, as a controller not as a device.

Almonds do not support secondary controller functions at this time and from what I can read about the Aurora, it's controller is not meant for secondary use anyways.

They are accessible via IFTTT and apparently also have an API... so those would be workarounds to device triggers which Almond could provide to IFTTT... but not direct control.
Almond 3 mesh handling the home.
