Already in love... new Almond+ User!
« on: December 31, 2016, 08:41:28 am »
Hey guys!

I just got my new Almond+ router and already can't stop playing with it!
My goal is to use it for a small home automation system and as a Router of course...

In the last days I worked towards understanding the Websocket API and using it via node-red. In the next days I will write a thread about my progress so far. Node-red communication with Almond is already working, now I'm programming a "wake-up light" with a Osram Lightify bulb that should simulate sunrise before my Android alarm goes off in the morning...

I already made great use of this forum and am thankful for the posts here and the Wiki. I will try to contribute, although I'm only a hands-on trial and error guy with not too much inside in Linux development (which I could definitely need...).

Let's get the party started  ;D

Best regards from Germany,
Markus

Welcome. Glad you have found some helpful information and are looking to contribute. It is always interesting to hear how people have things set up (for me at least) because it often sparks ideas.
