False advertising in UK?
« on: January 22, 2017, 06:59:18 am »
Here are two examples -

https://www.securifi.com/uk/workswithecho
https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Home-Garden-Store/Securifi-Almond-Touchscreen-Wireless-Automation/B016MPC716/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t

Both of which either categorically state that the UK product works with Alexa, or blatantly insinuates the functionality.  The truth is that as it stands, it does NOT work with Alexa.  The skill to make it work is not available in the UK, so the advertised functionality will not work.  Whilst I understand that Securifi are waiting for the Skill to be signed off by Amazon, they simply can't advertise support until it is actually there.  When will that happen?  I bought this router and some z-wave devices on those grounds, and I am very annoyed and disappointed that this has been sold with the promise of Alexa functionality when it is still not available in the UK.

Buyer beware.

@ MadJohn123,

We got your feedback and do agree with it. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused and we are working on removing it from the product page and also from our Securifi UK page. However, I would ensure to update it as soon as Amazon approves it. Thank you!
