Z-wave and Telecom frequencies coliding?
« on: February 01, 2017, 05:26:11 am »
I'm a fan of z-wave and I like their standards better.
Z-wave is on 900+MHz frequency and unlike, Zigbee on 2.4Ghz, Z-wave wont crowd the 2.4Ghz spectrum coz everyone has wifi, etc.
But then i just realized, isn't 800-900 (zwave freqs) the same range most telcos use for 3G/4G etc? Isn't that more crowded with powerful signals from telco stations?

What are your thoughts?
thanks

The range of frequencies usually doesn't overlap, but many phone frequencies are much higher. I wouldn't expect interference under normal conditions.
