VoIP, MagicJack, Oomla, Obihai
« on: February 12, 2017, 04:43:24 pm »
Has anyone been able to get reliable voip from Almond+?  Was using Magic Jack with static IP and port forwarding but even with drastic DMZ magic jack can't stay reliably connected.  Finally thinking its either the router or magicjack, I switched to an old linksys router I had and boom magicjack stays reliably connected so it's an Almond+ issue.

Is there any known solution?

Has anyone gotten Obihais obi200 to work reliably with Almond+?

My concern is that there is a port forwarding issue with Almond+ latest firmware as even DMZ fails to maintain the connection.

I've been using the original Ooma with the A+ for a few years without issue and no special configuration. I just plugged the Ooma into a LAN port.
