unable to connect to internet

Am trying to hookup almond as a range extender.  It goes all the way thru and then says
"not connected to internet".  Have a netgear router and have Time Warner as the provider.
What am I missing?

Try to turn off the main router and Almond for 30 seconds, turn on only the main router and once it is completely back on then turn on the Almond. If this fails then disable the Range Extender and run the setup through Wireless WAN.
