I was having a serious problem with system time being wrong on R096. Since I installed R098 that problem seems to be gone. Now the system time on my Almond is consistent with the NTP server, and the time zone that I select does not randomly change, as it had been doing. Of course, NTP servers do not recognize Daylight Savings Time. I don't understand why a DST option is not present in the Almond Web Interface. Are there any plans to address that?

I noticed that after the upgrade, the screen goes blank now and then when displaying the weather.  EG, I reboot the router and choose the weather page.  with R096, the page would stay displayed until I manually change it.  With R098, I'll walk by in the morning and the screen would be black.  I'd walk by in the evening and it will be lit...very weird.  It seems like there was an option added to show the screen only during certain times.  (this is a great feature BTW, but not sure if it's a feature as opposed to a bug)

It is not a bug, it is a feature (Settings-->Screen Settings-->Advanced Settings)

Since performing this upgrade my wi-fi is very slow and intermittent and help would be appreciated.  Is it possible to downgrade?

Yep. You can reflash your firmware to the previous version. I've done it when the beta just keeps shitting the bed too much to continue with it. Support can provide you a download for the last good version, if you don't have one.
(Tip: If you are on the beta tester list, keep a copy of the firmwares handy in case to need to downgrade. It'll save you the back'n'forth with Support)

Could you please try flashing the same firmware again and let us know, if you are still facing any issues.
