Dramatic drop in WiFi download speeds (SOLVED)
« on: June 06, 2017, 06:13:48 am »
I have my Almond+ connected to a Virgin broadband modem with a contracted speed of 150mb, up until a couple of months ago I could get WiFi download speeds of at least 70 to 80 Mb on 2.4Ghz this has suddenly dropped to 5gbs while Ethernet speeds are around 160mbs nothing has been added to the network and the router hasn't been moved at a bit of a loss as to what is going on

Some how the mode setting had changed to 11B changing to 11NGHT20 (not sure if this is the right setting) solved it ,not sure if this makes sense but it worked now getting 70 to 80 mb download as it used to be
