I stopped being a betazoid years ago, but here I am first to update to R092 .  :o

No issues during update and after a quick feature check.

I've updated. So far the only thing I noticed was an additional step when creating a scene. Asking if I was using Alexa to tap the next button to name the skill otherwise tap Done.

Is there a roadmap anywhere on the almond products? Specifically around integration with Google Assistant, Stringify and the ability to access the sensors directly.

I have 5 Osram Lightify lights (some white and some color) connected to my Almond. I'm using IFTTT to control them by voice to GA. While this works it is limited.  An Almond scene needs to be created for each instruction and then a subsequent matching IFTTT applet.

Turn on family room lights
Turn off family room lights.
Turn on family room lights blue.
Etc etc

Is there a way to not need so many scenes just to dim lights or change colors? I'm new to this.  I'm assuming if there was a roadmap to add Google Assistant would skip the need for IFTTT... but what about the ability to control the sensors directly too.
Hey Google, turn the family room green. No almond scenes... just a quick intruction directly to the family room bulb(s).

The rules nor the scenes use the bulb location (i.e. kitchen, living room) in the config .... is there some other reason Almond asks the location of the device/sensor?

Thanks in advance for any feedback and tips!

After updating i have huge problems with my z-wave devices! No of my rules are working anymore even if i try to open or close my fibaro roller shutters manually it can take up to 5 minutes until they react. Some of them didn't react at all.

How can i downgrade the firmware?

What's the change log besides:
Quote
--> Added support for restoring sensors (If we remove a sensor or do removal all then restore won't work).

--> Z-wave config parameter bug fixed.

I updated the firmware to R092.

I confirm that, similarly to the previous firmware, the color-changing Osram/Sylvania RGBW bulbs color-changing functionality DOES NOT work with Amazon Alexa. You can change color with the Almond app, Touch screen, and Website, but not with Alexa.

The error I get is:
"Alexa, set the XXX color to YYY" -> "Sorry, XXX does not support that"

Do you know if the support will ever be added or if there is some setting I can use to add it?

Thanks!

After the firmware R091 i started having problems with wifi drops. Both with 2,4GHz and 5GHz.
I can wait for 5 minutes and its back on or just reeboot almond. But then after 5 minutes it goes offline again for 5 minutes.
After the R092 fmw i still have the same issues.

Our team is working on this and would be taken care of through our future updates.

I don't know if this is helpful, but I bought the Almond+ in December and the WiFi has been consistently stable with both R091 and with R092. Maybe the unstable WiFi some people are experiencing are due to a hardware problem.

The only problem I am currently experiencing is the one I reported on my previous message, where the Almond Home Automation Alexa skill does not allow to change the color of the lights.

Hi!

My problems are back...
WiFi jamming, fibaro smoke sensor start noising(“beeb” random times )
Fibaro motion sensor move status not change....

One fibaro smoke sensor works... its 10meters from almond, others are 5-7meters

Aeon multi 6 sensor works and one “no name” China motion sensor...

Can I shut down almond inside zwave and use usb dongle?

Since updating to R92, I have lost connection twice to my ecosmart dimmable led lightbulb. It was working perfectly before... If I remove and re-add it, I need to update all my rules, then it stops responding after a few days.

The home automation works well, however I have been experiencing frequent router reboots at random. At first i though this was attributed to the Google Home & Chrome-cast issue, this doesn't seem to be the case as I have them disconnected and continue to experience the reboots.

Other than the router rebooting I do not have any Ethernet or WiFi issue. All is well otherwise

Anyone else facing this issue?

Have you noticed it running hot? The A+'s have issues with heat dispersion (mounting it flush against the wall with the bracket they supply actually ends up making it worse) that result in lockups & shutdowns.
