Public IP Access from Internal Network
« on: February 18, 2018, 12:22:50 am »
Howdy,

So I setup a website on a device inside my own network.  I can access the website inside the network via the devices internal IP (10.10.10.x).  I can also access the website via the router's public IP since I have port forwarding turned on to the device.  However I'm unable to access the website via the routers public IP while I'm on the same network. It's only when I'm off the network, when I can use the public IP to access the website.  I've done some digging and it sounds like I need to turn on NAT loopback, but I'm not sure how to do so with my almond3.  Does that sound right? Any advice or guidance?

I'll just say that some ISPs have this limited as well. So you may need to check with them.
