Hi - I am new - Question re: disconnect
« on: September 25, 2017, 08:11:09 pm »
Hi all.  Being as technology is not my greatest forte, I successfully connected my new Almond to Internet and Cloud but didn't realize I need to add a wireless card to the desktop I am trying to connect (the reason we need to go wireless is an office is being added to the 2nd floor).  Can I disconnect the Almond from the modem while I wait for the card, and does it have memory to remember the settings for when I reconnect it to the modem in a few days, or will I need to start over with programming it?  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

You can disconnect the Almond no problem. It will keep the settings. But, you could just leave it plugged in and not use the wireless for now. If your computer was plugged into the modem directly using an Ethernet cable you can plug the computer into one of the LAN ports of the Almond.
