Sensor restore
« on: March 28, 2018, 12:48:35 pm »
Hi,

which are the proper steps to restore removed zigbee sensors keepeng the device id, rules and scenes?

I have a couple zigbee bulbs that my son reset/unlinks whe he plays with the bulb switches (He turn it on/off at the same rate required to reset them), then every time I have to go around all the process to add them again, then edit the rules, the scenes, my homebridge devices on the iphone (have a homebridge plugin linking the almond devices to homekit), the homekit rules an so on....

I have an Almond+ with R093 firmware.

Thanks!

Cannot be done.

I thought this added that functionality:

--> Added support for restoring sensors (If we remove a sensor or do removal all then restore won't work).

That functionality only works if there is some glitch that removes the sensors from the Almond. Doing remove or remove all preempts that from working. Resetting the bulb is the same as removing the device as it resets the network information from the bulb.
