Problem with NTFS HDD Mounting for SMB
« on: October 03, 2019, 10:54:42 am »
Hi all,

I was a Kickstarter backer on the A+ and more or less as soon as I got it up and running I put a USB thumb drive in to use for sharing some small video files on the network via SMB. This worked great, I could drop video files on from my Mac, stream them on my FireTV using Kodi, or on my iOS devices using InFuse.

However, eventually the USB thumb drive failed. I subsequently bought a 4TB WD (Passport I think, USB powered), bought a tool to format it NTFS on my Mac and put some media on, however I can't seem to get it mounted / see the files. If I fire up my Mac and go to \\almondplus all I see is "EFI", could you possibly advise if I'm missing something, or if 4TB is too big or something please?

Many thanks.
