Came across this article and was wondering if the Almond+ has a version of Samba that is affected?

Since I do not see anyone answering this, and as far as I am aware it is still relevant, the answer is yes.

Samba was updated to version 3.6.25 back in 2015. so its a newer version than 3.5.
