Ok, WTH is going on Securifi...why is IFTTT dropping Almond support? This seriously impacts my Almond+ home automation setup!!!

Welcome to the club. They sent an email stating it was costing them more money than it was worth to keep the support for IFTTT.

That really sucks. Without Google Home support, it's time to finally move to another router. I've been using the Almond+ since the Kickstarter release. It has always been half baked but I hung in there while they did seem to improve the automation features over time. The wireless on it has always been pretty terrible (especially the 5Ghz) with Apple devices. I'm probably heading into another sh*tstorm but I think I may give Homekit devices a try. Apparently I am a masochist.

I don't think we will have any  new features on almond+ anyways.
Like you said time to move on

I finally switched awhile ago. Started using the Samsung SmartThings WiFi. To use with HomeKit I’m using a raspberry pi with homebridge.

Same issue.  Just noticed it not working this evening.  I have tried setting up new applets with other trigger words - same issue.  Ensured Google Assistant in IFTTT was linked (re-linked), still no joy.
