Title: Unlock Alexa skill for Canada

The Almond skill isn't available in Canada yet by the looks of it.
When I go to the US amazon.com site, I get the message "You are not eligible to enable this skill due to geographical restrictions." when I pull up the Almond skill page.
Is this something that can be unlocked for us north of the 49?

Following as well, just bought a Echo unit and have both an almond plus and 2015. I also cannot make them talk to eachother here in Canada...

Maybe this will belp you:
I have the problem that alexa doesnt find almond-scenes in germany.
I made myself a workaround with IFTTT, just connect amond and alexa to IFTTT and set up a new applet.
You have to set up a scene on almond that you can choose on the applet then.

You need an account on:
https://ifttt.com/

then you connect it to Your almond account (search for any almond applet on IFTTT ) and create an new applet with the assistant of IFTTT , there You should see f.e. the almond scenes

Almond2015 + Echo dot (on Amazon.com/US) account = works since last summer.
And some geolocated services, e.g. weather, also work.
