Post by: Fire69 on July 07, 2015, 04:11:10 pm
Just got an update to 4.3.

Is the only change an update to support Nyce sensors?

That's what it says. Sounds like it's safe to say that is all for this drop.

The update was a minor release compared to the old version 4.2, and it has support for the following sensors.

Nyce Occupancy sensor is NCZ-3043

Linear LLC Model GD00Z-1

Considering how many people have been waiting for app support for the Linear garagedoor opener, maybe this should've been in the release notes...

@ TheLostSwede,

This update was important because quite a few users where requesting for Garage Door Sensor support on Andriod App, and I would ensure that any update from here onwards would be released with proper release notes.

The Linear garage door open does open and close via the app but the tilt sensor status still does not work right.

Ex.... this morning my door was closed and I successfully used the app to open it. After several minutes the app still said the door was closed. If I then tell the app to close the door it says "opening".

The tilt sensor is installed correctly. It seems to be that polling for open/closed status update just doesn't occur correctly - ie, it occurs when an app action happens rather than polling the tilt sensor.

For example, if I manually open/close the door to get the app status "in sync" then it stays in sync for an open/close process because then the app just constantly reports "opening" status. Doesn't appear to actually poll the sensor state and rather seems to do so via "last app action".

With 4.3 the MultilevelSwitchOnOff devices, the slider still doesn't work correctly.
The illumination level changes when the slider is moved.
But the app stops allowing any change to the slider, and after some period of time, the slider goes to either 0% or 100%.
Please fix.

@ mr23,

It seems like we don't have that particular bulb, however, could you please hit send logs with description as "Wemo 800 not working", so that I could check with my team to see what we can do on this.
