Title: Cloud Not Connected
Post by: RichardS on March 05, 2017, 10:12:58 pm
BLUF (Bottom Line, Up Front): The cloud is not connected.

Earlier this evening while I was out, I noticed that I had stopped receiving notifications on my Android phone, resulting from a new rule I've been testing. I also noted that none of the smart home devices were responding. No big deal, right? The A3 probably just needs a reboot, or it's just a glitch or something. I got home and rebooted the router and my phone, still no cloud. I switched my phone over to local connection to my WiFi, everything works. Switched it back to cloud connection, this time running on my WiFi instead of my phone's 3G/4G, and the devices stopped responding again. Checked the Web UI via the PC directly connected to the A3, and everything works. LCD UI indicates that the cloud is not connected.

Is there currently a problem at the cloud server?

I am sorry to say that we had a small technical issue with the Cloud and got resolved, please do check the status and let us know, if there is any issue. Thank you!

It appears that it's all working normally as of now. Thanks!

Is the cloud down again? No problems connecting locally, just over the cloud. Before I tear my hair out looking for the problem somewhere in between when there are other things I need to be doing, I wanted to see if the problem is on your end.

I have my Cloud Connection down as well but Local Connection works.  I initially thought this was on my end when I realize everything else is connected to the internet.

Cloud not connected on both Almond + and Almond 3s...
Think there may be some issues on the remote end...

This has been happening to me a lot. I notice it because my iftt commands don't work. I hope they get it fixed it at least acknowledge it.
