Title: Securifi Flood Sensor

I have 2 flood sensors that both reported low battery within a short time.

After replacing the batteries, they just continue to report low battery.

How does the low battery warning get reset/cleared ? Is this warning actually looking at battery voltage?

Remove the flood sensor from the network. Remove the battery and clean the battery section area and ensure there is no dust or anything. Reset it to the defaults by holding the pairing button for 10 seconds and then add it again. That should solve the issue.

Note: Also make sure the tampering is off.

What a pain to have to remove and re-add to replaced batteries. I did it and it worked and then 2 months later .... low battery yet again.

Once we have done the process correctly, we shouldn't face this issue again unless the battery itself is low. Also check if there is any loose connection near the battery node area.

I bought 2 of these units in April 2015 both have had low battery warnings. The first was after only 3 months in July 2015 and the second after only 6 months in Oct 2015. Also, after replacing the batteries the low battery warning now doesn't clear. Reducing my rating as 3-6 month battery life is not acceptable on a 2-3 year battery life claim.

There are two things on this, one we are receiving low battery warning because the device is not properly connected to the Almond+, second if the Almond+ or the controller is offline most of the cases then batter would be drained on the sensor because they keep searching for the network this is by default programmed.
