Title: Plug in hd to stream from?

Ive been looking at buying a wd my cloud and was wondering if i bought this, and plugged in my hard drive, would it make the HD accessible wirelessly? I'm looking to stream movies to my tv.

Side note, id be using it in my room about 20ft away from the router downstairs.

@ kdw87,

Yes, you can do that  by enabling the FTP access.
