Title: iOS Suggestion: Notification Center Widget
Post by: Kazy on October 14, 2014, 03:55:05 pm
Just a quick feature suggestion:
Support for the iOS 8 Notification Widget. Set a few sensor toggles and control them without needing the app open.

Would this be possible?

Sounds like a great idea!

It might be, but don't expect this for a couple of months at least as we have a lot more basic stuff that we need to make sure is working properly in the iOS app.

I was just thinking about this and lo and behold it's already been suggested. I know the development people have a lot they're working on, but personally would greatly increase the convince of interacting with one's zigbee/zwave connected devices.

this is a great idea and should be part of the roadmap.
but i hope basic notifications can be supported sooner.

i think basic notifications can add more value to the currently
supported sensors. my motion and door sensors really are useless
to me unless i constantly open the almond+ app to see any status change.

It's coming, as I've explained elsewhere, the delay with regards to notifications has been due to a backend problem which I hope they've solved by now.
