Title: Aeon Labs Z-Wave Plus Magnetic Door - Window Recessed Sensor Gen 5 ZW089-A

Hello Everyone,

The model is ZW089-A by Aeon Labs. I really like the design and functions, but before I buy it I would like to know if there will be any future support for this device?

Be careful about buying door sensors. Magnetic door sensors and metal clad exterior doors do not work well together. Check what your door is made of (see if a magnet sticks to it on the area you plan to mount the sensor) before purchasing any sensors. If you have a metal clad door, contact Aeon labs support directly and ask they recommend a sensor specifically for that type door.
