Title: changing between router and extender not seamless

I have to go in the wireless settings on my android phone and turn off/back on to switch from router to extender and visa-versa. Is this normal or do I have something set up wrong? I thought I would be able to move about the house and receive best signal seamlessly.

@ Duane,

Tap on the Wireless app and ensure that it has got the same name and password as your main router network, if you see any extension then remove it.

I changed the name to match when I set it up but that doesn't make any difference. When I go to different areas of house I have to turn wireless off, then on again to connect to closest router. That is a real pain because I use wifi calling because of poor cell service in my home.

@ Duane,

Seamless roaming won't be 100% all the time, until the present network is disconnected it won't reconnect to the stronger signal. However, try to check the settings on your device you may find an option which says connect to the stronger signal automatically.
