Title: Can the Almond 3 do the job of a Control4 ZCA-ZXT30 ZigBee extender?

I'm in the process of designing a smart home with a custom installer. The current version of the plan includes two ZCA-ZXT30 ZigBee range extender. I'm wondering if using the Almond 3 (which includes a ZigBee radio) for the WiFi would eliminate the need for those specialized products. Is that the case?

Almond 3 acts as a Range Extender to improve the WiFi range but not the ZigBee. If you are planning to improve the ZigBee range, you need to go for a ZigBee repeaters like Peanut Plug.
