Title: Access mode dropping internet connectivity...
Post by: GregKieber on August 27, 2014, 02:54:02 pm
I've had my Almond since June 2014 and for the first month it worked flawlessly. But for the last month or so, it drops internet connectivity once or twice a day and is getting a bit frustrating.  I've looked at the system logs but can't see anything helpful and the only way to reestablish internet connectivity is to reboot the unit.

Here are the details of my setup:  the Almond is running as an Access Point and is connected via CAT 5 cable to my primary router, a Linksys WRT150N. The Linksys does not experience any difficulties when the Almond loses connectivity and all systems connected to that router maintain their internet connectivity.  Almond is running software version AL1-R199-L301-W33 and I use a static IP connection to my Linksys router. There is a Roku player connected to the LAN port on the Almond.

Any thoughts on what may be wrong or troubleshooting steps I can take?

Thanks,
Greg

Try saving your configuration and doing a reset of the device.

If it continues to act up after that I would email or call support at:  http://www.securifi.com/support (http://www.securifi.com/support)
