Title: Pulling data from the sensor?
Post by: a12345 on July 08, 2015, 03:09:42 am
Is it possible if we want to pull the data from the sensor direct to the private land or our local server?

Take a look at my IOT article on the wiki, it provides a method of doing something along those lines.

I thought the page was fairly descriptive. It reads the status from the almond and uploads it to a cloud site called ThingSpeak. I've made a number of changes to also support a few other cloud sites, I haven't really found one I really like yet, but the basic principle is the same. It's a fairly simple Perl script, I can't teach you Perl, but I didn't use anything too complicated in the script, I thought it was fairly easy to figure out what it is doing.
