Title: CES 2015
Post by: mparadis on January 05, 2015, 08:55:34 pm
Is Securifi heading to CES this year? Would love to hear your take on some of the new devices being thrown to the market and if you see any products you'd be interested in adding support for. I know a lot of the products there never make it to market or are many years out / a proof of concept but they also have many that are usually available within the year. Any way just interested in your impressions. Thanks!

Indeed we are.
Already got to test the yet to be announced refreshed version of the Danalock which now reports lock/unlocked status, even if you control it manually.
Fibaro, Philip, Aeon-Labs all have new stuff and I'll  be talking to all of them.

Awesome! I didn't see anything on the blog or forum, didn't check the press page. Thanks!

Curious as to how you intend on putting this device onto the retail market this month when it lacks the most important feature "automation"? You've mentioned that the release is coming last week which has passed which limits the amount of time for feedback from the majority backer group for bug fixes/pathes before selling online to the general consumer. That being said can you provide us an update on the next firmware release??

All I know at the moment is that we should be releasing something this week.

We always have time for feedback, this is just a first release and we've technically had our beta testers testing an older version for a little while now, but it was too complex to use, so we've simplified the UI a lot as per my post here - http://forum.securifi.com/index.php/topic,1974.msg9910.html#msg9910
