Title: Do the Almond 3's smart features flow through a regular Almond router?

If I have an Almond 3 as an Access Point, and have a regular Almond router as an extension, can I access/exercise the smart features of the Almond 3 (Alexa commands, smart devices, scenes, etc) through the regular Almond router?

No but you can use the Almond 3 HA devices no matter how it is set up (access point or router). You cannot control the devices from the original Almond's LCD but you can control them via app, echo, and the Almond 3 LCD.
