Title: Zooz Valve Control
Post by: zibmak on February 13, 2017, 06:36:56 pm
Hi -
I am having trouble with controlling my new Zooz Valve controller. It connects to the router as a sensor instead of a binary switch (according to the APP).
Zooz support tells we my Almond+ router should see it as a on/off switch. They suggested I ask for work around from Securifi.
Any suggestions?

Additional details - I am on release 090
Zooz item - https://www.amazon.com/Z-Wave-Water-Valve-Control-ZAC03/dp/B01AKCPEHG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1487029210&sr=8-1&keywords=zooz+valve

Thanks,

Zibmak

Ashok,

Sorry it took so long ... I finally figured how send the logs.
So you should have them now.

Also I found another thread where you were discussing the Zooz valve. You mentioned it should work from the router GUI. I was wondering does that mean it can be rule-based controlled from the router GUI? I.e. if water intrusion is detected then turn the valve of/off?

Thanks

@ Ashok,

Did you receive the system logs? Any revelations with this issue?
I just need to return this item in 3 days if we think the valve is faulty.

Thanks for your help

Sorry for the delay, was away for few days. It should get added as generic device and work fine only through LCD  UI and if not, then please do remove and add it again. Meanwhile, will get back to you with an update by tomorrow with out fail.

@ Ashok

I have removed and added the Zooz valve with the router several times (as generic device) and it still can not control it from the LCD UI. Have you been able to make it work on your end?

--Thanks
